3rd Generation JPEG IP Cores

Building upon the longstanding and extremely successful line of its widely used JPEG IP cores, Alma Technologies has been continuously adding new features, as well as completely new JPEG IP products, addressing fully the increased color depth and throughput requirements of today's applications.

The current Alma Technologies JPEG IP portfolio offers a complete series of 8-bit Baseline and 10/12-bit Extended JPEG cores, capable of high-quality and accurate video rate control which offers to the user complete control over the end-to-end system latency.

The latest additions to our JPEG IP are our scalable 4K/8K UHD JPEG encoder and decoder IP cores which enable massive pixel rates in highly cost-effective FPGA and ASIC implementations.
